Tara gives me the inside scoop on all of the history that can be explored while visiting Caroline County, plus some of the most popular outdoor attractions (including the Chesapeake Ghost Walks), popular events & what's to come down the pike for the rest of the year!
Tara Coursey is a graduate of Neumann University and serves as the Tourism Manager for the Caroline County Office Of Tourism. She has served as the tourism manager since 2021 and was previously the Community Engagement Manager for Caroline County Public Library. She was recognized as Outstanding Employee of the Year in 2020 by the Citizens for Maryland Libraries. Tara is a member of several community-based boards and has also been a catalyst for growth in Caroline County where she has resided for 14 years. Tara has a passion for building the county as a prime destination that sits along one of the major routes to the Maryland and Delaware beaches.
Tara is a recent graduate of the Shore Leadership Class of 2022. She enjoys family time, sports, and traveling and is raising two sons Jarvis (16) and Jayden (10).
