A star is a natural luminous body visible in the sky and one definitely landed in Baltimore, MD. But for someone who claims he never really played with toys when he was younger; You would really want to get in the mind of this young guy. He preaches on stories of him running home from school to see The Mickey Mouse Club and watching Music Videos all day instead of cartoons. Kind of weird right? The normal child spends their time doing "fun stuff!" Now we know all artist have their idiosyncrasies but video recording concerts on TV and watching them over and over at the age of 11 makes him a little different and by the way, that was "fun stuff" to him.

While being one of the youngest talented entertainers in the area making a buzz, Mike☆Star overcame boundaries of isolation even though his surroundings weren’t entertainment based. Attending Baltimore City College High School, a college preparatory national blue ribbon school of excellence, opened many doors for him while succeeding in academics and arts. Gaining vocal and performance techniques through extra-curricular activities built to enhance and advance talents for the real world. There he finally found his place to explore the gift of entertaining. Studying multiple genres of music and styles of performing not only nourished his skills, but furthered his love for the arts.

Mike☆Star’s career took off after winning a “You Got Served” dance competition in Baltimore which lead to his position as an official dancer for (Radio One Station) 92Q Jams. He also did background work in the nationally known movie “Step Up 2 – The Streets” and directed a series of shows that gained recognition and because the most popular in the Baltimore City Public School System.

Mike☆Star began to participate in any and everything he could get his hands on dealing with the arts. It was very important for him to test his waters before he completely jumped in it. So he became instrumental in the careers of many artist by wearing many hats. He spent all his free time providing choreography, lyrical content, stage direction, and anything else you can think of to mold an artist.

Gaining an elite realm of popularity for just being himself is what shows us he not only has natural star quality, but is a quintessential pop star. In his area I can almost guarantee if you mention his name somebody knows him, knows of him, or knows somebody who knows him. You probably can catch him at the towns biggest events as a featured guest or even sitting front row at the most recent fashion show because of his dope sense of fashion.

"I believe in expressing yourself threw the arts. So I use Music and Fashion to do so. And I challenge everyone to do the same. I’ll be one of the artists to open the minds of people around the world and let them know its ok to dream."

By now I'm sure you're completely convinced this guy has paid his dues and is more then ready to land his spaceship on plant earth and takeover the WORLD! But follow me on this! Just when you think I'm done stuffing you ears with excitement, there's more! Mike☆Star is currently exploring and preparing to invite the world on a journey of sounds by recently recording a whole album on his own without a label! He executive produced the whole album and wrote or wrote on each song. Now I know this is typical for someone that has a deal but for someone without a deal that has to be one of the most challenging things ever, and at such a young age!
