Did you know that today is Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year? Or at least that's what a group of British researchers say.

The third Monday of January is when the Christmas glow has faded, New Year resolutions have been broken, cold weather has set in, there are fewer hours of daylight,  and oh yeah, your Christmas credit card bills just landed on the doormat.

Not only that, The University of Exeter and office environment
consultancy Ambius estimate that the "workplace blues" could be costing businesses as much as $93 billion in lost productivity.

“January can often feel like a struggle. Not only are we returning back to work after holiday, but we are also coping with the after-effects of
Christmas.“Tie this together with the dark winter days and lack of available light we receive and it’s no surprise that we are feeling low."

However all is not lost, the same bunch of really smart guys came up with a list of really smart ways to help beat the blues. And this is what that multi-million dollar research study concluded:

1) Go for a walk once a day to get as much natural daylight as possible. 2) While at work try to sit next to a window as this will help expose your body to the daily light levels it needs each day. 3) book a winter holiday to somewhere really bright; and get to exercising...

Now I don't know about you, but I'm thinking that "really smart list" is
really stupid. So lets make our own list. Leave a comment and let me know what you're going to do to get through the most depressing day of the year...And now, to help illustrate what sadness and depression look like... I give to
you... NORTH KOREA'S GOT TALENT!
